About Campus Charitable Fund Drive
Eleven organizations are currently a part of the SECA fund drive. Descriptions of the SECA Participating Charities are updated annually, see Agencies for additional information. SECA Participating Charities: Connect to the people and their stories; see the impact that donations to SECA agencies have on individual lives and our communities.
Employees can contribute in two ways:
Continuous payroll deduction: Employees who contribute through continuous payroll deduction have a set amount withdrawn from their check each pay period, continuous designations are ongoing and continue until the employee designates a change or forwards a cancelation request in writing.
One-time donation: For those who wish to donate a specific amount, may do so by filling out the One-Time Direct Gift section of the form and writing a check payable to "Campus Chest" for the total amount. The One Time Direct Gift check and the pledge form should be sent to UIC Campus Charitable Fund Drive, Special Programs, MC 897.
Note: Employees are responsible for any changes or cancels to the ongoing deductions. Payroll deductions are and remain continuous. Deductions are based on the designated amount per pay period and are not contingent on the number of pay periods. If an employee class changes and/or number of pay periods changes this will affect the number of times the payroll designation is deducted not the amount per pay period. Employees remain responsible for notifying Special Programs by fax or email of cancels and/or changes.
