SECA, State and University Employees Combined Appeal
Our UIC goal is to continue to increase employee participation and overall dollars pledged. Paula Allen-Meares, Chancellor, Maureen Parks, Executive Director and Associate Vice President, University Human Resources and the entire C/VC have pledged their support and participation. They are calling on the UIC community to familiarize themselves with the payroll deduction and/or one time donation opportunities and consider participating. Department representatives have information and resources which assists in reaching our goals: Increased participation and overall dollars pledged.
Department representatives are invited to the Kickoff Breakfast and Charity Fair which includes a breakfast reception outlining program specifics, guidelines & procedures. SECA participating charity representative introduce themselves and address attendee questions at the Charity fair, they acquaint department representatives with member charities and the many causes they represent. They educate representatives with different ways to communicate pledge drive information to their department and how easy it is to designate payroll deductions. Our department representatives support and enthusiasm are integral to the success of our fund drive.
