The Training Index is organized by college or administrative unit providing course, followed by external vendors and Working at UIC 101 videos.
UIC has teamed with SkillSoft, a provider of Professional Development Programs and online learning material, to provide access to more than 100 online courses and a Management Knowledge Center. All UIC Core Competencies have been linked to SkillSoft online courses. Several learning programs have also been organized to support preparation for professional certification exams and continuing education credits. View courses associated with each Core Competency and begin to create an Individual Development Plan that includes SkillSoft online courses as well as development opportunities provided by colleges and units campus-wide.
Working at UIC 101 is online 24/7 training that provides important information which may help many employees address day-to-day responsibilities more effectively. Each “Working at UIC 101” module provides an overview of services, policies and procedures associated with a UIC operational area.
