UIC HR is working to redesign our website to better serve your needs.
Please help us by sharing any questions, difficulties, or suggestions you have as you visit this web site.
Each new employee participates in several on-boarding activities; including online orientation to the UIC campus, employees benefits orientation meeting and department specific information meetings and training. The UIC campus overview is provided as an online module. Employee benefits information sessions are scheduled on Monday mornings. During the first few weeks of employment each department will schedule sessions for new employees to meet with a cohort group or individually with appropriate personnel to receive information about specific operating procedures and structures in a college, department or administrative unit.
The online campus orientation includes three (3) modules: 1) UIC Mission and History; 2) Transportation, Policies, and Employee Services; 3) Security, Professional Development, and Final Steps. Modules are posted below in the recommended order for viewing.
You may also download this presentation as a New Employee Orientation Guidebook (PDF).
