LLEAP Action Steps

1. Review LLEAP Policy (Employee)
2. Complete Employee Participation Request form (Employee)
3. Submit Employee Participation Request form to manager (Employee)
4. Review Employee Participation Request form and LLEAP policy (Manager)
5. DECISION: Approved (Manager)
• Manager signs Employee Participation Request form
• request funds for approved LLEAP request from college/unit
• send form to Organizational Effectiveness at oe@uillinois.edu or WROB, M/C264 for review and documenting
• Organizational Effectiveness signs form, captures data, and returns form to college/unit manager
• Manager receives signed Employee Participation Request form from Organizational Effectiveness
• Manager notifies employee and provides copy of signed form to employee
• Manager files original Employee Participation Request form in employee’s college/unit personnel file
6. DECISION: Denied (Manager)
• Manager notifies employee and provides reason for denying request
• Manager files original Employee Participation Request form in employee’s personnel file
If for budgetary reasons these funds cannot be provided, the unit’s supervising Vice Chancellor office should be contacted.
