2013-2014 DISSERTATION FELLOWSHIPS
The Institute for the Humanities at the University of Illinois at Chicago is delighted to announce two dissertation fellowships in 2013-14. These fellowships are designed for advanced UIC graduate students working in any area of the humanities broadly defined.
Departments are invited to nominate up to three students for these awards. Nomination packets, including a departmental ranking of candidates, are due in the Institute for the Humanities by January 28, 2013.
The year-long Dissertation Fellowships will carry stipends and tuition waivers. Students will be expected to be in residence at the Institute, to present a public lecture on their work, and to participate fully with Faculty Fellows in seminars and workshops.
Please encourage students who are in the dissertation stage of work to apply for this opportunity.
All 2013-2014 applications should be submitted electronically. Complete application details and materials will be posted.
