Application Instructions
A complete application will include:
*materials from applicant
**three (3) reference letters
*Applicant materials be submitted electronically as one PDF file to huminst@uic.edu.
Please use the following convention when naming the PDF file: 2012-2013Lastname-Firstname.pdf
(For example: 2012-2013Smith-John.pdf)
The PDF file should include, in this order:
- one cover sheet
- one proposal, roughly 1,500 words. Proposals should describe the project concisely and clearly for a multi-disciplinary evaluation panel and address its relevance to current directions of research in the field. (See Proposal Guidelines) Please double-space proposals and use 12-point type.
- one bibliography, not to exceed one page
- one CV
**Three letters of reference concerning the project from appropriate authorities outside of UIC. Letters should be sent directly to the Institute for the Humanities and can arrive via mail:
