Other students who meet the prerequisites may be accommodated during late registration as space permits. Part-time evening MBA students may be given priority in registration for evening MBA course sections. Some accounting courses will have combined-section final exams.          Introduction to Financial Accounting
       3 hours.  Extensive computer use required. Prerequisite(s): Sophomore standing. Restricted to Economics, Finance, Accounting, Bus Admin-Undeclared, Engineering Management, Information & Decision Sci, Marketing, Summer Session, Entrepreneurship, and Management. Not intended for Graduate - Chicago. Not intended for Bachelor of Arts.  Students from other departments and colleges can sign up for this course at the Accounting Department webpage http://accounting-net.actg.uic.edu. During fall and spring terms, combined-section final exam will be held on Monday of finals week from 6 to 8 p.m.

ACTG            315
         Intermediate Financial Accounting I
       3 hours.  For satisfactory progress in the Accounting major, students must receive a grade of C or better in ACTG 315. ACTG 315 may be repeated only once. Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or better in ACTG 110 and grade of C or better in ACTG 111; and, for accounting majors, a passing grade on the Accounting Qualifying Exam (AQE).
