Military Science

Location (Military Science): 728 W. Roosevelt; Phone: (312) 413-2357. (Naval Science) Illinois Institute of Technology, 10 W. 31st Street, Room 215 Stuart Building, Chicago, Illinois (312) 567-3530. All academically eligible students are welcome in Military Science courses. Students may enroll in military science and naval science courses regardless of sexual orientation, in accordance with the university's non-discrimination policy. However, students should be aware that homosexual conduct, which may be interpreted as stating that one is lesbian, gay, or bisexual is grounds for disqualification from entering into a contract with the federal government to become a commissioned officer. ROTC and the state of Illinois offer scholarship and tuition waiver opportunities for qualified students. Contact the Military Science Department for details. Naval Science classes will meet at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
