Military Science

Location (Military Science): 728 W. Roosevelt; Phone: (312) 413-2357. (Naval Science) Illinois Institute of Technology, 10 W. 31st Street, Room 215 Stuart Building, Chicago, Illinois (312) 567-3530. All academically eligible students are welcome in Military Science courses. Students may enroll in military science and naval science courses regardless of sexual orientation, in accordance with the university's non-discrimination policy. However, students should be aware that homosexual conduct, which may be interpreted as stating that one is lesbian, gay, or bisexual is grounds for disqualification from entering into a contract with the federal government to become a commissioned officer. ROTC and the state of Illinois offer scholarship and tuition waiver opportunities for qualified students. Contact the Military Science Department at (312) 413-2356 for details. Naval Science classes will meet at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
