Mathematics Teaching

Location: 322 SEO; Phone: (312) 996-3041. Prerequisites will be strictly enforced. Students who register in courses for which they do not meet prerequisites will be dropped. No precalculus math course from any other institution is accepted as a prerequisite for any UIC math course. Some mathematics courses will have combined-section final exams. MTHT     401            Methods of Teaching Secondary Mathematics II
         3 OR 4 hours.
        3 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours. To be taken in year prior to student teaching. Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or better in MATH 210 and enrollment in the B.S. or M.S. in the Teaching of Mathematics program in Secondary Mathematics Education; and a 2.50 grade point average in mathematics courses at the level of calculus or above.
