Other students who meet the prerequisites may be accommodated during late registration as space permits. Part-time evening MBA students may be given priority in registration for evening MBA course sections. Some accounting courses will have combined-section final exams. ACTG            210
         Introduction to Financial Accounting
       3 hours. Meets 16-Jun-08 - 06-Aug-08. Previously listed as ACTG 110. Extensive computer use required. Prerequisite(s): Sophomore standing. Restricted to Economics, Finance, Accounting, Bus Admin-Undeclared, Engineering Management, Information & Decision Sci, Marketing, Summer Session, Entrepreneurship, and Management. Not intended for Graduate - Chicago.  Students from other departments and colleges can sign up for this course at the Accounting Department webpage http://accounting-net.actg.uic.edu. During fall and spring terms, combined-section final exam will be held on Monday of finals week from 6 to 8 p.m.

         Introduction to Managerial Accounting
       3 hours. Meets 16-Jun-08 - 06-Aug-08. Previously listed as ACTG 111. Extensive computer use required. Prerequisite(s): ACTG 210 and sophomore standing. Accounting majors need a grade of C or better in ACTG 210.  During fall and spring terms, combined-section final exam will be held on Tuesday of finals week from 6 to 8 p.m.

ACTG            315
         Intermediate Financial Accounting I
       3 hours. Meets 16-Jun-08 - 06-Aug-08. For satisfactory progress in the Accounting major, students must receive a grade of C or better in ACTG 315. ACTG 315 may be repeated only once. Transfer credit from another College or University is not accepted for ACTG 315. Prerequisite(s): Average grade of B or higher in ACTG 210 and ACTG 211, with both taken at UIC; or a grade C or better in ACTG 210 or equivalent and ACTG 211 or equivalent and a passing grade in the Accounting Qualifying Exam (AQE).
