       3 hours.  Prerequisite(s): ENGL 160 or the equivalent. All students take the Writing Placement Test. If students place into ESL 050, ESL 060, ENGL 150, ENGL 152 or ENGL 160, the student must take that course (or courses) prior to enrolling in ENGL 161.
