Mr. Morones is the founder and president of Border Angels, a non-profit organization that works to stop the unnecessary deaths of those traveling the United States and Mexican border. He is also a former member of the Institute of Mexicans Abroad and founder of the annual National March for Migrants, a precursor to the 2006 mass Immigration Marches.
