My experience with the P&T process, internally and beyond the library,
extends over many years. Although it was long, long ago that I chaired
the Library P&T Cmte, I have been active in cmte. activities, including
task-forces and sub-committees as well as serving as liaison on an
on-going basis.
Having served on and chaired committees/task-forces in the Library, campus
senate, ILA/IACRL, and ALA (especially LAMA), I can help guide colleagues
in identifying service groups that coincide with career interests.
