The
Reserve Desk schedules six group study rooms for use by patrons. Three
of these rooms are located at the south end of the Daley Library on
the first floor; one is on the second floor southeast side, and two
are located on the fourth floor on the northeast side of the building..
They may be reserved no more than one day in advance on a first-come,
first-served basis. Rooms may be reserved for one-hour blocks and
for no more than two consecutive blocks. Reserved rooms will be held
for 15 minutes; after that time if the group has not arrived the unclaimed
room may be reassigned.
UIC faculty, staff, and students in groups of four or more may reserve
rooms. Registered student organizations may reserve the rooms; an
officer of the organization must make these reservations. Reservations
are not transferable. Rooms may be used only by the person(s) making
the reservation. Trading of rooms could result in termination of scheduling
privileges.
The rooms may not be reserved on a regular basis in advance
(e.g., 2:00 p.m. every Wednesday). Each time must be requested as
indicated above.
Additional
group study rooms on the 4th floor are available without reservation.
Groups using the rooms should leave them in a satisfactory condition.
Keys are not to leave the building and must be returned promptly.
A $20.00 fine will be assessed for overdue keys.

of room use by all occupants.
