The Community Partnership for Cancer Information is a collaboration of
the LIbrary of the Health Sciences and the Cancer Center for Healthy
Living to reach out to local cancer patients, survivors and
their families by filling information needs.

UIC Library of the Health Sciences
|
The Library of the Health Sciences supports the information needs of the
students, faculty, and staff of the University of Illinois at Chicago
educational and research programs in Peoria. In addition the Library is a
rich community resources available to the public.

Resource Library |
The Cancer Center for Healthy Living is a non-profit agency that provides
wellness programs and resrouces that promote a balance of body, mind and
spirit to enhance the quality of life and health of those affected by
cancer.
|
Travel Collection
Small collections of cancer materials from the libraries will be made
available at Friendship House and Neighborhood House and will become
available at additional community agencies.
Instruction
Health Sciences librarians offer instruction on finding and evaluating
health information at the Cancer Center for Healthy Living, Friendship
House, Hult Health Education Center, Neighborhood House, and to other
interested groups or agencies.
