AV Materials in general

Most LHSU AV materials can only be used in the library's AV rooms (see "AV Room Policy" below), but medical students may check out some videos for use outside the library (see "Reserve Materials Policy" below).

UIC users may wish to explore Anatomy TV, a database of images, video, and text covering the whole human body.

AV Room Policy

AV rooms are intended for:

• Scheduled Classes
• Viewing of Library materials
• Medical/Nursing student study groups

AV room keys may be obtained from the Circulation Desk.

• Please do not move equipment from the room
• Promptly report equipment problems to a Library staff member

Reserve Materials Policy

• Reserve materials can be checked out for 3 hours
• Reserve materials may be taken out overnight when checked out within three hours
  of closing, however, the materials are due back one hour after opening the next day
• Renewals are allowed unless the item is recalled by another patron
• Renewals may be restricted for high demand items
• Phone and e-mail renewals are permitted only for UI faculty, students, and staff
• Please note that some reserve materials are designated Library Use Only
