PubMed
PubMed searches the MEDLINE database plus publisher-supplied citations.
The MEDLINE database in produced by the National Library of Medicine and
provides bibliographic citations to journal articles from the fields of
medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, and the preclinical
sciences. The coverage extends back to the 1950s. Over 4,800
biomedical journals from around the world are indexed in this system.
TOXNET - Toxicology Data Network
TOXNET provides access to a group of databases on
toxicology, hazardous chemicals, and related areas. This website provides
access to TOXLINE which is a bibliographic database providing references
to literature on biochemical, pharmacological, physiological, and
toxicological effects of drugs and other chemicals.
POPLINE
POPLINE is a bibliographic database covering the fields of population
research, family planning, and related issues. This system provides
citations and abstracts to journal articles, books, book chapters,
technical reports, conference papers, news items, dissertations, some
unpublished reports, laws, bills, and court decisions.
