CINAHL - Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature
The CINAHL database indexes over 1,600 journals
in the fields of Nursing and Allied Health along with the publications of
the American Nurses Association and the National League for Nursing. In
addition, it also includes citations to nursing dissertations, selected
conference proceedings, standards of professional practice, educational
software, health care books, and audiovisual materials in nursing.
PubMed @ UIC
PubMed searches the MEDLINE database plus
publisher-supplied citations. The MEDLINE database is produced by the
National Library of Medicine and provides bibliographic citations to
journal articles from the fields of medicine, nursing, dentistry,
veterinary medicine, and the preclinical sciences. The coverage extends
back to the 1950s and covers over 4,800 biomedical journals from
around the world.
