RENEW - Renew a book that you have checked out
RECALL - Recall an item that is checked out to another user
NOT FOUND - Request a search for an item not found on shelf but not checked out
REQUEST AN ITEM WITH A "TEMPORARY CONTROL NUMBER" - Request that an in-process item be expedited and held at a circulation desk
PAGE AND HOLD - Request that an item at UIC be retrieved (paged) and held
ASK CIRCULATION for general assistance and information

LOAN REQUEST - Request a book or item not owned by the University Library or a participating I-Share library be borrowed from another library
JOURNAL ARTICLE/SERIAL PHOTOCOPY REQUEST - Request articles in journals/serials not owned by UIC via interlibrary loan

INFOQUIC - Request a photocopy of UIC library materials
LOANSOME DOC - Request a photocopy through an electronic ordering system of the National Library of Medicine
