InfoQUIC Article Delivery

InfoQUIC is a service that provides copies of articles from the UIC Library collection for a fee

InfoQUIC is available to UIC faculty, staff and students. Corporate or individual members and others may also use the service for additional fees. (see 'Costs' below)

NOTICE: WARNING CONCERNING COPYRIGHT RESTRICTIONS The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyright material. Under certain conditions of "fair use" specified in the law, libraries are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction provided that the copy is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research." The library is obligated to refuse a copying order if, in its judgement, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law. I understand that the material I request may be subject to copyright restrictions (Title 17, United States Code). I hereby authorize the University of Illinois at Chicago to process all requests submitted by myself and agree to pay any charges incurred for the service. Costs

UIC Faculty, Staff and Students: $10.00

Members & Health Care Professionals: $25.00**

Organizations, Corporations, UIC Alumni and General Public: $35.00**

**All charges in this category reflect a $15 per article copyright fee. For requests for articles longer than 25 pages, add $3.00 per additional 25 pages or fraction thereof.

In cases where the copyright fee to be paid to Copyright Clearance exceeds $15, any excess will be added to the total charge. You will be notified of the adjusted charge and asked if you wish to proceed with your request.

PLEASE NOTE: in some cases we cannot supply your article right away because the Copyright Clearance Center must check with the publisher, if the journal is not in CCC's database. This may take anywhere from a few days to several weeks. This is, however, a rare occurrence.

Submit an InfoQUIC Request (UIC users)

Use MyILL@UIC to submit your InfoQUIC request. If you are not already registered, please visit the page below and follow the directions.

To place your InfoQUIC request, after log-on, select "InfoQUIC" on the left side of the screen under the "New Request" column heading.

Submit an InfoQUIC Request (Non-UIC Users)

Please check UICCAT first to determine which library owns the title the article appears in.

Next, select that library from the list below and register or log-in to submit your request

Note for Requesting Articles Held at the Science Library: Registration is not required. Please select the Science Library link provided and fill out the request form

Note for New Users

Please register with the library that owns the material you need.

On the registration page, please choose "InfoQUIC User" from the "Choose a Status" pull-down menu

You need only register one time
