Beginning May 4 through May 8, the Daley Library is open until midnight to provide quiet study areas and longer hours of access to reserve materials and resources for completing research projects. From 9:00 PM to midnight, Sunday, May 4 through Thursday, May 8, users will have access only to the first floor of the Daley Library, including the Reserve and Circulation Desk and first floor computers, photocopiers, and the 1-South study area.
The hours of service points within the Daley Library (Government Documents, Reference, Maps, and Special Collections) may vary. Consult information desks for details.
The west door of the Daley Library closes at 5:30 PM Monday through Friday and is closed during all weekend, holiday and intersession hours--enter and exit through the east door only. Everyone entering the Daley Library at these times must show a picture ID to door attendant. Anyone without a picture ID must show an ID and also sign in.
The Library of the Health Sciences-Chicago (1750 W. Polk St.) begins extended hours on May 2. See the detailed schedule at: http://www.uic.edu/depts/lib/lhsc/services/hours.shtml#spring.
