Library staff and faculty are encouraged to help promote resources,
services, or events at UIC Libraries by contributing feature story ideas
for display on the UIC Library Web site.
Story topics include, but are not limited to the following categories:
- Newly acquired databases or materials
- Displays or collections of special note
- Resources or services targeted at a specific classes or groups of users
- Upcoming events, workshops or classes
Please submit story ideas or completed stories to Bill Jones
(wgjones@uic.edu). If you submit a story idea, please include the basic
facts (i.e. who, what, why, where, and when) along with a brief statement
explaining why the story would interest readers. Stories submitted in full may
be edited before they are posted on the Web site. Features can vary in
length, but are typically 200-300 words.
