Summer public service hours for the Sharon A. Hogan Rare Book Room are
Monday-Friday, 1:00 p.m. - 4:40 p.m., June 9 - August 15, 2003. Special
Collections personnel will be available by telephone and email 8:30 a.m. -
4:40 p.m., Monday - Friday to provide collection and reference information.
The Department is closed on weekends.
All researchers are encouraged to contact the Special Collections Department
prior to arranging their visit. For the period June 9 - August 15 Special
Collections personnel will accept requests for specifically identified books
and collection folders from the rare books, manuscripts, and university
archives collections, to be retrieved in advance of the researcher's visit.
The Sharon Hogan Rare Book Room is located in the Special Collections
Department, 3rd Floor South, Room 3-330, Richard J. Daley Library, University
of Illinois at Chicago, 801 S. Morgan. Parking information and travel
