Math Collection Moves to Daley Library

The University Library's Math collection, which has been located in 430 Science and Engineering Offices (SEO), is being moved to the Daley Library. The move will begin this week and should be finished by January 17.

Books and journals from the Math collection will be shelved in separate call number sequences on the second floor of the Daley Library. Materials will have the new UICCAT locations:

Daley Library - Math Collection/2nd floor south - Books
Daley Library - Math Collection/2nd floor south - Periodicals

The materials will be moved from SEO and immediately placed on the Daley Library shelves. During the move, Library staff can assist patrons looking for a specific title or journal issue. Please ask staff at the Daley Library Circulation Department or submit a Page and Hold request.

Having the Math collection in the Daley Library will benefit students, faculty and researchers by bringing all mathematics materials together in one building and by providing access to these materials more than 80 hours per week (the collection has been available only 40 hours a week in SEO).

For questions and further information, please contact Jay Lambrecht, Interim Associate University Librarian.
