Blackwell Journals Online As a result of a consortial agreement within CIC, the University of Illinois at Chicago now has access to the Blackwell Publishing Collection of electronic journals online. The collection consists of 600 full-text, online journals published by Blackwell, Blackwell Science, and Munksgaard. The Library has had the Blackwell Science and Munksgaard journals available through the list of electronic journals found at http://www.uic.edu/depts/lib/reference/resources/journals/ .
Currently this collection is split between two URLs pending the merger of all titles into one URL sometime after July, 2002. A complete list of those journals for which UIC has access to the full text, consult http://www.blackwell-synergy.com for all Blackwell Science/Munksgaard titles and http://www.blackwellpublishers.co.uk/asp/listofj.asp for all Blackwell titles. All 600 titles will appear on the list of electronic journals as the list is updated. For users unfamiliar with these publishers, Blackwell Science/Munksgaard contains mostly science and medicine titles while Blackwell contains social science and humanities titles.
Kluwer Journals Online As a result of a consortial agreement within CIC, the University of Illinois at Chicago now has online access to all of the journals published by Kluwer. The collection consists of over 500 titles covering all disciplines. The majority of these titles already appear on our list of electronic journals but newer titles are being added. For a complete list of the electronic journals from Kluwer consult http://www.kluweronline.com/ .
Webcartography This electronic resource is the Web edition of Web Cartography: Developments and Prospects, edited by M. J. Kraak and A. Brown, published by Taylor and Francis. The resource can be found at http://kartoweb.itc.nl/webcartography/webbook/ .
CIRRIE The University at Buffalo Center for International Rehabilitation Research Information and Exchange (CIRRIE) has developed a bibliographic database containing citations relating to rehabilitation research conducted outside of the United States. Relevant information from all areas of rehabilitation has been brought together in one database, including citations to resources not readily available to U. S. researchers. It currently includes citations from 1996 to the present with a goal of going back to 1990. CIRRIE is funded by the National Institute for Disability and Rehabilitation Research of the U. S. Department of Education with a mission to facilitate the exchange of information and expertise between researchers in the United States and those in other countries. You may access this database at http://cirrie.buffalo.edu .
