Survey on Library Service Quality

Your opinion means a lot to the UIC Library. We would like to serve you better. To help us do so, in the coming weeks we will be participating in a nationwide service-quality survey for research libraries called LibQUAL+.

LibQUAL+ is a research and development project developed by the Association for Research Libraries (ARL) New Measures Initiative in collaboration with Texas A&M University. This project is intended to define and measure library service quality across institutions and create useful quality-assessment tools for libraries. The survey collects information regarding library users' perceptions of service quality and identifies gaps between desired, perceived, and minimum expectations of service.

LibQUAL+ uses a Web-based interface and protocol to ask library users about their service expectations. We will be inviting a randomly selected sample of the UIC undergraduate, graduate, and faculty population to help us improve our services to you by participating in this survey.
