Physical Education Index
The UIC Library has renewed its subscription to the Physical Education
Index. This database indexes literature from the journal literature back
to 1970. The cost of this database is $1,075.00 per year.
GenderWatch
The UIC Library has renewed its subscription to GenderWatch. This
database indexes material that surveys how gender impacts on various areas
of society. The cost of this database is $2,090.00.
IEEE/IEE Electronic Library
The UIC Library has renewed it subscription to the IEEE/IEE Electronic
Library. This comprehensive database is being provided through an
agreement that includes the Urbana-Champaign campus. It indexes and
provides full text of all IEEE and IEE journals, proceedings, and
transactions. UIUC agreed to continue to receive the paper archive of all
of these publications with UIC receiving only the electronic. In order to
free up critical shelf space in the Daley Library, many of the print
volumes that are now available electronically through this database will
be placed in storage. The total cost of this database is $140,000.00.
UIC splits the cost with UIUC.
