The Library is pleased to announce that the following databases have been renewed for the coming year:

BioOne: a collection of full text journals published by small societies and commercial publishers covering the biological sciences. This resource costs $10,017.

Bioknowledge Library: a very specialized collection of databases that focus on the compilation of available protein information. This resource costs $20,000.

CIAO: a database of the Columbia International Affairs. This resource costs $1,195.

Digital Dissertations Abstracts and Indexing: a database of full text of all dissertations from UIC and CIC schools. This resource costs $13,656.

JSTOR: we now have all parts of JSTOR which provides the full text of a multitude of titles in science, social science, and humanities. The full text goes back to volume one for all titles and is current to within two or three years. Each year another year is added. This resource costs $57,539.

Science Online: this is the online edition of the journal Science. This resource costs $9,500.

Annual Reviews Online: a database of all Annual Reviews titles form volume one for each title. This resource costs $7,632.

Blackwell Online: this resource provides full text access to all journals published by Blackwell. This resources costs $20,143 plus the cost of the paper subscriptions.

American Chemical Society Web Editions Option B: provides access to all 34 titles published by the American Chemical Society, including Chemical and Engineering News. This resource costs $49,742.

Early English Books Online: full text of all titles in the Early English Book bibliography. This resource costs $2,945.

Kluwer Journals Online: Kluwer was purchased by Springer and the database is now called SpringerLink. Provides full text to all titles from Kluwer and Springer. This resource costs $11,435 plus the cost of the paper subscriptions.
