Project MUSE

The UIC Library now has a subscription to the full Project MUSE database of 112 electronic journals published by Johns Hopkins University Press and selected titles from Carnegie-Mellon University Press, Duke University Press, Indiana University Press, MIT Press, Oxford University Press, Pennsylvania State University Press, University of Hawaii Press, University of Texas Press, and University of Wisconsin Press. Of these 112 titles, the Library has subscriptions to the paper editions of only 58. With this database, researchers at UIC now have access to an additional 54 journal titles that previously were unavailable. Project MUSE can be accessed at http://muse.jhu.edu/journals/. These 112 titles, also, will be available through ECO in OCLC FirstSearch http://www.uic.edu/depts/lib/sysdocs/oclc/ at a later date. (Some are already available at this time.)

The following titles are in the Project MUSE database. The beginning year varies with each title. Please note that some of the titles are still being loaded into the database and their online accessibility will be later in the year.
