Science

The UIC Library is pleased to announce that the online edition of the journal Science, published by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), is now available to the faculty, students, and staff of UIC. The journal can be accessed through the database, Science Online, at http://www.scienceonline.org/ or directly at http://www.sciencemag.org/ .

Science is one of the premier journals that reports on current research in science, engineering, and medicine. The database, Science Online includes the journal as well as sites that provide ScienceNews, a daily news service; Science's Next Wave, a career development site; Science Careers, a job search, meetings, and graduate programs site; and E-Marketplace, a product and advertising information site.

As with all databases and electronic journals that the Library subscribes to, Science and Science Online can be found through the Library's homepage, http://www.uic.edu/depts/lib .


Library-News is an electronic newsletter reporting on major acquisitions in the UIC Library, news of changes in the library that may impact on service, and news of newly acquired electronic resources.
