Welcome to everyone who is receiving Library-News, especially the new faculty. The Reference Librarians in the Daley Library are offering workshops for faculty in the Infotech Arcade of the Daley Library. There are 5 workshops that will provide you with information that will help with your research and teaching:

Electronic Journals
UIC now has access to over 4,000 full text electronic journals. Currently, the list can be found at the library's homepage http://www.uic.edu/depts/lib/ under resources or directly at http://www.uic.edu/depts/lib/reference/resources/journals/. This list will soon be replaced by a more comprehensive list. Watch for the announcement in Library-News. Also, watch for announcements of additional electronic journal collections that are being negotiated through CIC and state consortia. These include Kluwer and Blackwell as well as full text of Nature weekly.
