Voyager-New System

Over the next few weeks the UIC Library will be migrating to a new system that will manage the UICCAT. This new system is called Voyager and will replace the current system called NOTIS. Beginning this Friday, November 16 and extending through Sunday, November 18, data from the NOTIS system will be copied into the Voyager system. This will have limited impact on what and how you find information in UICCAT. There will, however, be some "sluggishness" in response time when using UICCAT during this time of data conversion. After December 20, you will begin to see a new look to UICCAT as we bring the new Voyager system into full operation. Watch Library-News for additional news about changing from NOTIS to Voyager.

Electronic Resources

Watch Library-News for the announcement of access to several new electronic journal collections, including Mary Ann Liebert Online; Blackwell Online; new additions to JSTOR; Nature monthlies, and BioOne. We are in final negotiations and license review for several databases, including Ulrich's International Periodicals Online; HRAF Online; and Avery Index Online.
