Chicago Urban Health Outreach Project

About CUHOP

CUHOP is an outreach project of the Library of the Health Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago, on behalf of the Greater Midwest Regional office of the National Library of Medicine. This project is funded in part with federal funds from the National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health, under Contract No. NO1-LM-1-3513.

The 18 month project, begun in September 2001, is an effort to provide training in the practical and clinical uses of NLM databases for clinicians of all levels. The project is a collaboration with Erie Family Health Center and Circle Family Health Center. CUHOP has installed workstations in each clinic intended for use in accessing NLM databases. These computers can also be used to access the eductional materials found on this website.
