For example, the university has just experienced a 5.6 million USD budget cut, but not a single penny was cut from the Libraries! I feel proud that I was able to contribute in a small way to the net gain What I have been doing earns respect not only to myself but the culture I represent In a small way, I have contributed to the addition of two more librarians of Chinese origin to the library unit where I work in the past few years
