Branch Libraries

The "Gh. Asachi" Public Library has four branches situated in different departments of the city. Their collections each average about 12,000-15,000 books with an encyclopaedic structure. The collections are accessed by traditional library catalogues (alphabetic and systematic).

The branches are named for famous Romanian authors and scholars:
