Another facility of the "Gh. Asachi" Library is a connection to Internet (the worldwide network of networks). It permits real-time access to information. Unfortunately, we have access to Internet on just one computer. We hope the Library will be endowed with other Internet-connected computers and to achieve a local-area network connected to Internet to offer Internet information to our library users.
The Library also wants to extend our information system through increased use of CD-ROMs of all kinds. This way we can offer a wider diversity of electronic information resources. As a result, the use of these electronic services will develop our information system and thereby increase the information available to our users.
