animal and its habitat. They use the data to identify, graph,
and explain the changes that have occurred over time.

Creating
a Newspaper
- Project to create a newspaper around an historical event. Developed by
Mrs. Julis and Mrs. Apter of Twin Groves Junior High School, Buffalo
Grove, IL.
Cyber Mummy Project
- One of the most spectacular artifacts housed at the World
Heritage Museum at the University of Illinois in Urbana is this
mummy acquired in 1989 from a Chicago antiquities dealer. Unlock its
secrets with the help of modern medical imagery, a supercomputer,
and an archeologist.
Futurism
- The students are studying Futurism and its relationship to both the
end of the 19th century and the end of our century in Mr. Pinchot's 8th
grade U.S. History class at Lake Zurich School District 95.
pi Mathematic
Project at Yankee Ridgee Elementary School, Urbana, Illinois
- Mathematics, a collaborative project, using the concept of as
the focus, is a home page on the WWW. This multidisciplinary project
which includes math, history, English and thinking skills is designed for
fifth through eighth graders.
Plant And
Animal Populations
- Simmon Middle School students are studying plant and animal
populations and wetland conditions at the Wolfe Wildlife Refuge
Restoration Project in Oak Lawn.
