Chicago Public Library

Patients can be referred to the Chicago Public Library (CPL) for Internet access and assistance with searching for additional health information online.

  • All branches of the CPL have computers with free Internet access for library card holders.
  • Library cards are available for free to Chicago residents who show identification with their name and a Chicago address.
  • Additional information about computer use at the CPL is available from the online Computer Use Guidelines.
