CAS SciFinder Scholar is a database produced by the American Chemical
Society. It contains chemical reactions, commercially available chemical
information, regulated chemical information, biomedical literature, links
to chemistry journals and patents, organic and inorganic compounds, and
sequences. From these records, one may access structure diagrams, names,
molecular formulas, properties, single- and multiple-step reactions. UIC
users have access to the optional Substructure Module. The contents
range from the late 19th century to present.
