Library Instruction
The UIC Library is committed to providing instruction to both the UIC and non-UIC community. One of our greatest priorities is to enhance the academic experience of UIC students, to improve their research skills, and to foster information literacy and critical thinking. The departments also offer more general orientation sessions to groups within the UIC community, outreach to groups outside the UIC community, individualized research assistance by appointment, and a series of technology and information workshops for UIC faculty and staff. Online help guides, tutorials, and pathfinders are also provided for self-guided instruction.
