Biography of Florence Golembo

Florence Golembo (nee Kerman), was a student and performer at the Hull-House Music School from the late 1920s through early 1940s. Her daughter, Heather Golembo, participated in similar activities in the late 1950s.

The Florence Golembo Collection includes a newspaper clipping showing a Hull-House class, Hull-House Music School recital programs, music composed by students, an issue of the Melting Pot, a photograph of Gertrude Madeira Smith and a signed copy of In Happy Motion: Ten Little Rhythmic Pieces for the Kindergarten and Gymnasium.
