Pearl Ahnen, an award winning playwright and journalist, is the author of a number of books dealing her Greek-American heritage. These include Tula First Born and her Michigan Livingston Arts Council award winning Legends and Legacies, a collection of biographies of Greek immigrants in the Ann Arbor, Michigan region.
The collection includes photographs of Ahnen's family and friends, some of whom appear in her novel, publicity material regarding her plays, and a manuscript of Tula First Born.
