Jane Addams Memorial Collection
The
Jane Addams Memorial Collection consists of more than one hundred distinct manuscript collections documenting the history of Hull-House, Chicago's first settlement house and its founder, Jane Addams. It contains the records of Hull-House itself, the records of organizations that grew out of Hull-House initiatives and the personal papers of residents, associates and neighbors of Hull-House.

What is a finding aid?
A
finding aid is a description of an archival collection. It provides information
regarding the size of the collection, the date range of the materials, the
historical context as well as a detailed description of the materials in the
