Web Oversight Committee

Charge

The Web Oversight Committee is charged with oversight of and responsibility for the UIC Library Web space. The Committee advises the web master on the development and maintenance of the library web site; oversees the content and structure of library-wide pages; monitors ongoing evaluation and assessment activities; and recommends policies and standards directed towards improving functionality of the web site. While all web pages are expected to conform to the policies and guidelines established by the Committee, individual departments are responsible for creating and maintaining the content of their pages. The Committee reports to the Library Steering Committee.
