Presentation
Lynn C. Westney, Assistant Reference Librarian, presented "Brunswick Stew and Kentucky Burgoo: Name Origins of Colonial American Recipes," at the Mid-Atlantic Popular Culture/American Culture Association (MAP/ACA) Conference on Nov. 6, 2005. Her paper was part of the Food and Culture Section and the overall panel, "Food Politics."
Publication
Lynn C. Westney, Assistant Reference Librarian, is pleased to announce the publication of Educational Rankings Annual (ERA) 2006, her 16th in this series since 1991. Published by Thomson Gale, it contains 4,654 ranking entries and has 947 pages. UIC is featured in 22 of the rankings. ERA 2006 is available at the Reference Desk, second floor, Daley Library, LA217.E372.
Candidates' Presentation
Kristina Howard and Cleo Pappas are candidates for the position of Assistant Information Services Librarian. As part of the interview process, they have been asked to do a 15- to 20-minute presentation. Library staff are welcomed to attend.

Supervisors should not be changing any punched in/out times to avoid overtime, etc.
