Welcome to the Web portal for the UIC Center for Clinical and Translational Science. Clinical research, by definition, means research involving humans. Translational research moves the idea from the lab to the bedside to the clinic and to the public, with the goal of improving the health of our communities and the nation. Our center has three overarching mandates: Education, Research Support, and Facilitation of Novel and Collaborative Approaches to Clinical and Translational Research. We hope to truly transform the way clinical and translational research is performed at the University of Illinois for the benefit of patients, our investigators, and the entire University. Read more
