Core Genomics Facility (RRC/CGF)
The Core Genomics Facility is involved in all aspects of gene sequencing and information. It is located at the RRC-West, 835 South Wolcott Avenue, in the basement complex at Room A301-302.
Services include RNA extraction and purification, test array hybridization, and Affymetrix GeneChip array hybridization and scanning using the Affymetrix GeneChip system, ABI Prism 7900HT Sequence Detection System, Perkin Elmer Confocal dual-laser ScanArray Lite scanner, Nanodrop ND-1000 spectrophotometer, Genomics Solutions Microarray spotter, Qiagen BioRobot 8000, and Aviso GmbH Primus multiblock high-throughput PCR system. Software includes Insightful S+ Array Analyzer, Ariadne Genomics Pathway Studio, and a number of data analysis tools.
