UIC-THE COLLEGE OF MEDICINEThe curriculum of the College of Medicine at Chicago, the largest of the college's four programs, provides a solid foundation in the basic and clinical sciences and early exposure to patients. First- and second-year medical students study basic medical sciences and in the last semester of their sophomore year, they choose one of eight hospitals in the metropolitan for a physical diagnosis course. Teaching hospitals affiliated with the Chicago program are: the University of Illinois Hospital, the West Side Veterans Administration Hospital, Cook County Hospital, Mercy Hospital Medical Center, Christ Hospital, Ravenswood Hospital Medical Center, St. Francis, and Michael Reese Hospital.UIC-Chicago Resources |
